El Zonte is a charming surf town known for its welcoming local businesses and friendly community. Just a 45-minute drive from the San Salvador International Airport, it’s the perfect escape!
The town boasts two main surf spots: the point, offering a fun right-hand wave, and the beach break, with A-frame waves and a mix of lefts and rights.
The dry season (November to March) is an ideal time to visit—everything is lush and green, the days are bright, and the waves cater to all skill levels. The vibes are always high during this season!

As lifelong surfers who grew up with the ocean as our playground, we know these waves inside and out. A Day in the Life at EZ Surf Camp
Each day starts with a morning stretch and a surf plan, followed by a 1-hour surf session with your personal coach.
Local photographers will capture your rides on video and photo, and our coaches will provide detailed surf analysis afterward. By the end of the camp, you'll have all the footage to take home.
After surfing, relax at our beachfront oasis with a local, freshly-prepared breakfast.
From there, you can unwind by the pool or choose from a variety of activities, including:
